Julie was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and discovered her passion for art at a young age through drawing and painting lessons. She pursued her artistic education at Loyola University in New Orleans, where she studied graphic design and painting. To further her understanding of the arts, she also took numerous studio art courses while pursuing Hospitality Management and Marketing at Ohio University. After graduation, Julie continued to create striking artwork.

With her keen eye for interior design, Julie has enthusiastically taken on private painting commissions to enhance offices and homes. In addition to canvas paintings, she has developed a love for mural work and provides custom wall art for both residential and commercial spaces.

Julie's larger murals can be seen throughout Charleston, including at the R.L. Jones Rec Center in Mount Pleasant, The Pineapple Hut on Folly Beach, and the Dorchester Alcohol and Drug Commission building. Her work has also been featured on HGTV and in various establishments, such as Body by Design, Day Drink Charleston, Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar, Fuel Charleston, Fried Green Banana, Atlantic Palms, and House of Hoffmann Interiors.

Julie's artwork is available for purchase at Sweetwater 123, located in downtown Summerville, SC, and CornerCopia on James Island. Her work has been featured in various media outlets, including HGTV, the Charleston Choice Awards 2022, the Post & Courier, and Faces of Charleston.
